    ◉ Introduction and objectives:

    In this article, we will briefly explain the invention of a new system to prevent the passenger cabin from tipping over due to negative balance charge.


    Various factors can be involved in calculating the rise and fall of the charge function of the equilibrium irregularity with the addition of the pressure coefficient in the static and dynamic states of a mass. This increase can cause the vehicle to exceed the safety standards and lead to serious accidents for the vehicle occupants if the weight charge exceeds the value determined in the aerodynamic tests and determination of the safety coefficient of a vehicle. Factors such as tire bursting, steering box breakage and sudden wheel rotation, suspension or spring breakage, overtaking the vehicle at high and unauthorized speeds, vehicle sliding on the road or even driver inattention can be a dangerous factor that can put the vehicle in a rollover situation.

    Although the world's famous automotive brands apply the highest safety standards in their manufactured products but so far, none of these companies have been able to issue a 100% guarantee for anti-rollover licensing and grant it to buyers. Almost all cars built so far have the ability to be in a state of charge imbalance in their dynamic nature (which is a combination of factors of the internal structure of a car in response to the gravitational pressure of the environment).

    After numerous computer simulation tests and various researches on the dynamic structure of a car, I came to the conclusion that there is a practical and quite effective solution to prevent the charge function curve from being unbalanced in a moving body. I structured the basic principles of the design of this system based on the theory of nonlinear systems, which has many applications in hydrodynamics, weights and measures, biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, etc.


    At first glance, using chaos theory in dynamic engineering may seem a bit exaggerated, but I have used this theory many times before to find answers to complex problems and have experienced the creative role of instability and chaos in arriving at a unique idea for a stable position on the edge of stability. This experience led me to create the idea of ​​the "Anti Rollover" system!


    One thing I should mention is the limitation of implementing this system structure on non-electric vehicles (gasoline and diesel). Because the design of the powertrain in a battery electric vehicle (BEV) allows for different performance compared to gasoline engines. In all-electric vehicles, instead of a separate gearbox, drive shaft, and axle, the engine is directly integrated with the drive axle to create a powerful electric drive axle.

    In other words, the system that I designed to prevent this new car from overturning can only be applied to all-electric vehicles because, due to the use of the drive shaft to transmit torque in fossil fuel vehicles (directing the power received from the gearbox to the differential), it is not possible to remove this main and vital part in gasoline engines cars, which of course will not be possible to partition and separate the main parts of the body for gasoline vehicles. However, in electric vehicles, by taking advantage of the absence of a drive shaft in the floor of the vehicle, it is possible to easily separate the chassis and cabin.


    ◉ Technical description of the invention:


    In order to neutralize the strong drag and lifting effect of the charge of the equilibrium instability in the rollover situation, we have two practical solutions (in environments with and without gravity) to overcome the physical instability. In the first solution, the pressure environment must rotate around the mass and, by crossing the instability curve, bring the mass to the equilibrium state (space astrophysics) and in the second solution, the mass must be divided into several connected floating parts and the reactive parts of the pressure force must rotate around the center of stability and bring the central mass to equilibrium. Since the possibility of rotating the environment around a unit mass due to the presence of gravity is not possible on Earth (but it is in space), we can use the second technique of physics to create a center of stability in connected masses and achieve equilibrium at the center of stability.

    For this purpose, after various studies of the condition of the car body and considering the aerodynamic response of the body in dealing with air pressure, I divided body car into three separate parts that connected together. To reach the threshold of stable equilibrium, I considered the passenger cabin as the center of stability and the two rear and front parts of the body as reactive and sensitive hydraulic arms to the charge of the balance instability. With this technique, without preventing and dealing with the intense pressure force (which leads to spinal cord injuries and rupture of cerebral capillaries), we allow the center of stability (passenger cabin) to be flexibly placed in the charge cycle of the balance instability and pressure to be applied to the two rear and front parts of the car. So that it continues its periodic movement until it is at rest with rotation and rapid reactivity due to the pressure of the incoming energy (Newton's laws of motion).

    According to the computer simulation that can be seen in the video at the end of this article, the separate rear and front sections of the car exhibit their inherent physical movements after the application of pressure in the form of single-stage overturning or intermittent suspending while unlike these two sections, the passenger cabin is not affected by the rotational pressure applied to the connecting disk (installed in the front and rear of the cabin). This is because the cabin section, using two large shafts equipped with hydraulic gears, is placed as the center of stability in a fixed and neutral link position with respect to the pressure charge and only achieves the ability to accompany the pressure on a straight line of the horizontal axis. In other words, by using the hydraulic gear connecting the passenger cabin to the two moving rear and front sections of the car, we can achieve a combined cycle of two different movements (static and dynamic) until the cabin reaches a state of complete kinetic energy standstill.


    To reduce the inevitable effect of Newton's third law (whenever an object exerts a force on another object, the second object will exert an equal but opposite force on the first object), I connected all three separate body parts with two hydraulic rotary levers so, that both the aerodynamic condition is in the normal state and the body, when faced with a pressure force can intelligently and automatically decide to which part the pressure due to the charge of the imbalance instability is transferred and which part can remain in the static link state. To perform a rapid shift of the rotary lever disk between the equilibrium state and the imbalance state (given the physical strength of the pressure and the speed of the incident), it is necessary to equip the car with an intelligent automatic controller with a fast circuit reaction.

    To solve the challenge of shifting the linkage gear between the two balance and imbalance states, I designed two smart automatic locks on both sides of the passenger cabin so that when the imbalance state begins and the vehicle tends to overturn, the locks will switch from the closed to the open state and the hydraulic gear will follow the pressure. These two smart locks change their state and open or close when necessary by connecting their electronic circuit to the height detection camera sensors. In fact, the height detection sensors installed under the passenger cabin are responsible for detecting the standard height limit of each side of the chassis from the ground, and as soon as the height indicator passes the standard and safe level, the sensors send the necessary frequency to activate the linkage lever lock.

    The automatic activation of the linkage lever lock is as follows: in an unbalanced situation and when the height reaches the vehicle overturning limit, the automatic gear lever on the cabin side is locked and places the cabin in a static and fixed state and at the same time, the automatic gear lever on the rear and front bodies is opened and activated so that these two parts can rotate around their center of stability (cabin) to accompany the pressure force. As a result of this function, only the rear and front parts of the vehicle are in a position to accompany the pressure, and the passenger cabin part, with the gear lever locked, acts as a center of stability and pressure repulsion and directs the applied force to the other two parts.


    The next point is to transfer electronic circuits and electrical cables from inside the cabin to two separate sections and vice versa. For this purpose and to prevent disconnection and damage to electrical wires and cables, I used an automatic voltage and circuit connection terminal on the front and rear walls of the cabin. This terminal is the place where electrical energy passes in the car, which performs the task of transferring or cutting off electricity by connecting two disks on top of each other. When the car is in a rollover state, at the same time as the connection lever lock is activated to keep the cabin stable, the electricity passage circuit is also activated and the two terminals are mechanically separated. The separation of these two terminal disks from each other is done using a small electric pump to temporarily cut off the circuit current between the three bodies of the car. After the car is at a standstill, the power exchange grooves of these two disks are again placed on top of each other so that the electricity can pass from the battery panel on the floor of the cabin to the two rear and front sections of the car.


    In general, for a vehicle that is in a state of complete rollover and continuous 360-degree rotation (hanging), using the steering wheel has no effect on reducing the vehicle's rotation around itself because the wheels do not have frictional contact with the ground, the necessary adhesion to prevent the vehicle from hanging is not created. In addition, in rollover accidents, any sudden movement and rotation of the steering wheel leads to breaking the wheel joint seats, so the intelligent and automatic locking of the steering wheel by the "Anti-Rollover" intelligent control system when the vehicle is in an unstable state due to hanging is considered a safe and positive function for this system.

    When the anti-rollover system is activated, there are two solutions to separate the steering panel (located in the driver's cabin) from the steering wheel (located in the front of the vehicle). The first solution is to use a steer-by-wire system, which eliminates the steering column and connects the steering wheel to the wheels with just one "electrical terminal". This electrical connection, via a "wire connection", facilitates the complete separation of the three body parts of the vehicle, because when the vehicle is in the "anti-rollover" system activated state, we can disconnect or connect the electrical connection between the cabin and the front of the vehicle using this intelligent electrical terminal.


    But if we want to use the standard "steering column" system, we must separate the steering column, which is located between the front body and the driver's cabin, by converting the shaft and the steering column into two "separate" parts and connecting these two separate parts using an automatic clamp. This automatic and intelligent clamp is designed as a ring with two special rings that are responsible for sealing the two-piece steering column shaft. The installation location of the automatic steering column clamp to the cabin body is exactly at an opposite angle to the steering wheel and the driver's seat. In other words, the car has two steering rods that are sealed exactly along each other with a strong ring clamp.


    The mechanism of operation of the steering column connecting clamp is as follows: in the normal and balanced state of the vehicle, the steering column connecting ring is in a sealed state and the toothed rings located on the inner wall of the ring act as a clamp and connect the outer part of the steering column shaft to the inner part of the steering wheel in the cabin. In the unbalanced and overturned state of the vehicle, this mechanism is reversed and the intelligent electronic circuit of the vehicle issues a command to release the connecting ring so that the inner part of the steering wheel (driver's cabin) is separated from the outer part of the steering shaft (front body) and the vehicle's anti-rollover system is activated.

    According to the computer simulation tests I conducted, the Anti-Rollover system provided high safety efficiency at all speeds. This system performed well at high speeds by relying on the stability of the passenger cabin. Also, at low speeds, when the anti-rollover system is activated, the vehicle balance kept on and the vehicle is prevented from falling to the side due to the unbalanced weight and pressure function.

    Given the great efficiency and importance of this technology in preventing accidents and saving the lives of vehicle occupants (in the event of a rollover), the "Anti-Rollover" system can certainly be considered a positive and valuable factor in electric vehicles that use this technology.


    Like other inventions, this invention has the potential for further development and optimization, and its commercialization can significantly help reduce injuries and fatalities from accidents involving vehicle rollovers.
