In this article, I will briefly explain the invention of a power plant that generates electricity using gravity.
The preliminary design and initial idea of the system of this power plant dates back more than 42 years ago when I was 12 years old. At that time, I had designed a rotational cycle for the continuous movement of a self-propelled mechanical machine that worked continuously with small glass balls (marbles) using the force of gravity, the angular acceleration of the mass of the object, and the moment of inertia. In the past year, I decided to review and fix some of the shortcomings of that old design using engineering simulation software and conducted numerous tests in an environment that fully matched the behavior of pressure forces and other physical parameters of the real world, and finally reached an acceptable output by fixing some of the shortcomings.

According to what can be seen in the video at the end of this article, the results of numerous "physics simulator" tests show that the "Gravity Engine IV" is capable of generating electricity using gravity, inclined surfaces, and centrifugal force. In this simulation, the forces including friction, mass, and the gravitational acceleration of 9.8 meters per second squared (m/s²) and other natural factors such as friction caused by the movement of metal balls on the engine structure have been accurately calculated using a computer. In other words, the performance of such a structure for using gravity is completely based on physics calculations and its realization in real dimensions is possible.
Scientific ideas and inventions can sometimes be very complex and sometimes have a very simple structure and only serve as a spark, preparing the path of change towards creating more complex ideas. It is obvious that the more efforts are made to create ideas, design and build power plants without dependence on fossil fuels, the more endless and clean energy we will achieve on the planet, which can prevent environmental destruction and ensure the preservation of human health without the use of polluting and non-renewable fuels. There is no doubt that for the development and widespread adoption of scientific inventions in the field of clean energy, we need serious global collaboration and cooperation to achieve the best possible results in the shortest possible time.

As I mentioned in previous articles, there are many ways to produce endless energy, but most of them are never environmentally friendly and add various forms of irreparable pollution to the environment. For example, producing energy through nuclear fission or fusion requires a huge amount of energy from fossil fuels, while in the nuclear fission method we are seriously faced with the dangerous problem of producing nuclear waste that pollutes the environment. Imagine that to start the reaction in deuterium-tritium, we need a temperature of about tens of millions of degrees Celsius (a temperature of about 20 million degrees Celsius on the surface of the sun and some stars). Only with such a temperature we can bring two low-mass nuclei close enough together that the short-range nuclear force can hold them together to fuse, and then they collide with very high kinetic energy. I don't think it's necessary to say how much fossil fuel would have to be burned to produce energy to create such a temperature, to achieve such a feat in nuclear fusion. Simply put, this is a powerful and irreparable form of environmental destruction by humans!
Certainly, research and experiments conducted on splitting or fusing atoms together are very necessary and valuable for the advancement of nuclear science and other related sciences, but not on a very large and comprehensive level at the cost of rapid environmental destruction until it is possible to produce nuclear energy on Earth or outside the Earth's atmosphere (space) without consequences. I have been concerned about this for years along with other enthusiasts of achieving clean nuclear energy, and am even completing a new project to enable the transmission of nuclear energy from space to Earth. One of my main goals in creating various and creative scientific ideas in the use of clean energy is to promote responsibility for keeping the environment and human health clean. The interest and attention of only a small part of the global community to the use of new and clean energy has never been enough and there is still a need for targeted programs for the comprehensive use of renewable energy. I hope that my plan will also be considered and developed further as a creative and environmentally friendly idea for generating electricity using the powerful and clean force of gravity.

First of all, it should be noted that inclined surfaces have the ability to change the direction of force in their physical nature because the driving force of the mass on such surfaces moves forward and the resisting force on the mass moves upward and at the same time, such surfaces also have the ability to increase the force in their physical nature. Because a low driving force over a long distance and a high resisting force over a short distance leads to the displacement of the mass on inclined surfaces. Now, if we place objects capable of sliding with a specific and definite mass on inclined surfaces, then we can control and determine their motion and acceleration in a desired way by determining and controlling the forces applied to the objects. This is the key point that I have used in designing a power plant using Gravity Engine IV on an inclined surface, which I will explain further in the following, how this engine works!

As can be seen in the video at the end of this article, the Gravity Engine IV consists of two inclined surfaces (in a reciprocating manner), with the forward surface having a greater slope than the return surface. On these two inclined surfaces, seven metal balls with a certain mass (weighing 30 kg) are sliding along two angles of 45 and 15 degrees towards the force exerted by the Earth's gravity and performing a continuous motion cycle. Since the inclined surfaces on which objects slide downwards have a sliding friction coefficient and a static friction coefficient therefore, the static friction coefficient of the forward inclined surface in the Gravity Engine IV has been determined in such a way as to create the least amount of friction force compared to the return inclined surface in order to prevent the balls from losing motion in the rotational cycle of this system.

Since in physics, the smaller the angle of the inclined surfaces, the less force is needed to lift the objects. So in the design of the Gravity Engine IV, I considered the length of both inclined surfaces to be greater than their height, so that while creating a smaller angle in the slope, I could achieve a greater distance and time to increase the acceleration of the mass of the balls which is actually the same concept as reducing the static friction coefficient of the mass of the objects on the inclined surfaces. On the other hand, increasing the length of the forward slope in this dynamic system is necessary to have a complete 180-degree rotation (at the end of the forward slope path on the arc-shaped ring) so that, by utilizing the law of centrifugal force, the rolling balls can alternately be placed on the return slope path and the forward slope again.
All seven rolling balls with completely identical characteristics in terms of dimensions and density are placed on the inclined surfaces of the Gravity Motor IV. When the Gravity Motor IV starts working, all seven balls are first taken out of their tubular housing in turn by a hand pump and thrown along the slope by a hydraulic spring arm. The hydraulic spring arm is located on the opposite side of the Gravity Motor IV wheel blades, which in addition to creating the initial movement, is responsible for creating impact and pressure on the balls throughout the rotation cycle of this motor. Each time the balls are placed on the return slope cycle of the motor wheel blades, they are thrown again strongly towards the forward slope (the path leading to the wheel blades) after hitting the hydraulic spring arm. This rapid throw ensures that the balls move continuously at a constant speed along the slope, while compensating for the reduction in the coefficient of static friction.

Another reason for using a hydraulic spring arm in the design of this gravity engine is to compensate for energy loss due to the inherent properties of the first and second laws of thermodynamics, namely the temperature and energy relationships in the production of friction. In the alternating rotation cycle of the gravity engine IV, as the metal balls continue to rotate, the cyclic integral of heat equals the cyclic integral of the efficiency of each ball on the inclined surface and in the long term as the movement continues, there is a possibility of a change in the internal energy balance (macroscopic) in this engine which will result in a very small amount of energy loss in the transmission of the engine wheel torque to the generator. However, by using a hydraulic spring arm, the friction of the balls on the inclined surface tends to a negative coefficient and the macroscopic energy loss will be compensated.

In analyzing the Lagrangian formulas and differential equations of the acceleration of balls on two inclined surfaces, sufficient attention should be paid to the mass of each ball and its material type. For the Gravity Engine IV system, general calculations are defined in the formula L=T−U, where "T" is kinetic energy and "U" is potential energy. The kinetic energy of Gravity Engine IV consists of two parts: translational energy and rotational energy. For the balls of this system that have both translational and rotational motion, the Lagrangian function is calculated as T=mv+I, where in this equation "m" is the mass, "v" is the linear velocity (no-slip rolling condition), and "I" is the moment of inertia of each metal ball of this engine.

Lagrangian formulas and differential analysis are important because they help us determine the mass of each ball more accurately because we will be able to change their final acceleration by changing the material and mass of the balls and it is clear that the order of movement of each ball in the Gravity Engine IV depends on its acceleration and moment of inertia. If there are no restrictions on the structural dimensions of the Gravity Engine IV, we can achieve different accelerations in the translational and rotational movements of the balls by changing the angle or length of the inclined surfaces of this engine and of course, the greater the acceleration of the balls, the greater the rotation speed of the blade connected to the generator. This will have an increasing effect on the final efficiency of energy production.
When calculating the potential energy for the Gravity Engine IV system, we must pay attention to the fact that the increase or decrease in the potential energy of this engine depends on the height of the inclined surface from the ground. Also, potential energy has a direct relationship with the density of the material of each ball which using Lagrangian formulas, we can easily find that making a ball with a higher density (such as heavy metals) will lead to the balls moving faster and reaching the bottom of the inclined surface with greater acceleration. This is because the moment of inertia is reduced with a metal alloy. On the contrary, if we use a material with a lower density (such as compressed plastic and wood) in the construction of this engine ball, then the movement of the balls on the inclined surface will be slower because its moment of inertia increases.

In the Gravity Engine IV, an arc-shaped ring is installed at the end of the forward ramp to use the law of centrifugal force to cause the balls to return to the upper ramp (the return path of the balls). Along the path of both the ramp and the arc-shaped ring, double walls are installed on both sides of the path of movement to prevent the balls from deviating. To reduce friction, the ramps are designed to be completely smooth and cylindrical. The angle of inclination on the return path is calculated and considered with a smaller value and this is because we can achieve the maximum increase in the angle of inclination of the forward path (to increase the acceleration of the balls). The decrease in the angle of the return path is compensated by using the charging of the spring arm and the high acceleration of the balls on the forward path and finally all the balls move with the same speed harmony in their continuous rotational cycle.
As can be seen in the video at the end of this article, after reaching the end of the inclined surface, the balls enter an arc-shaped ring and climb up it. This arc-shaped movement of the balls is due to Newton's second law which states that if an object is moving with acceleration, then a force is definitely applied to it and since in uniform circular motion there is always a resultant force to provide centripetal acceleration. Therefore, the balls climb up the arc of the ring with the same approximate acceleration (relative to the angle of inclination and height of ascent) and enter the inclined path back. In fact, the continuous rotation of the Gravity Engine IV system is a result of the angular, tangential and centrifugal forces applied to the mass of the balls.
